Translator requirements:
- advanced degree (preferably language-related) is a must;
- second advanced degree (in a technical field) is welcome;
- at least 3 years’ work experience as a translator;
- reading proficiency in Russian and/or Ukrainian;
- fluency in English and/or German;
- computer proficiency;
- knowledge of translation and localization tools (Trados, Transit, Passolo, Logoport, etc.) or interest in learning them;
- reliable and permanent Internet connection.
Proofreader/Editor requirements:
- advanced degree (preferably language-related) is a must;
- second advanced degree (in a technical field) is welcome;
- at least 3 years’ work experience as proofreader;
- reading proficiency in Russian and/or Ukrainian;
- sufficient knowledge of English and/or German to make changes in a Russian and/or Ukrainian translation based on the source text;
- ability to see mistakes;
- computer proficiency;
- knowledge of translation and localization tools (Trados, Transit, Passolo, Logoport, etc.) or interest in learning them;
- reliable and permanent Internet connection.
