About the client

Delphi Technologies, now part of PHINIA, was a global leader in automotive emissions, fuel economy, and aftermarket solutions. It operated in 24 countries with over 20,000 employees, including 5,000 engineers. In 2023, it was spun off by BorgWarner into PHINIA.

The challenge

As Delphi Technologies transitioned a key unit from Hungary to Poland, they faced the critical need to train Polish engineers on operating complex machinery used in their factories. This required:

  • On-site interpreting services: Monthly interpreting sessions to facilitate training at the Hungarian plant.
  • Urgent availability: The need for interpreters who could step in on short notice, including weekends.
  • Technical expertise: Interpreters needed to have an in-depth understanding of automotive terminology to ensure effective communication during training sessions.
