Which interpreting format does your event need?
Simultaneous interpreting
Best for conferences, plenary sessions, international summits and events where the programme needs to continue without pauses. Interpreters listen and interpret at almost the same time as the speaker. This normally requires two interpreters per language and appropriate interpreting technology.
Consecutive interpreting
Suitable for meetings, negotiations, interviews, workshops, site visits and smaller sessions. The speaker pauses after each section, allowing the interpreter to deliver the message in the other language.
Whispered interpreting
Useful when only one or two people require another language. The interpreter sits close to the participants and interprets quietly without interrupting the main event.
Tour-guide interpreting
Suitable for factory visits, exhibitions, delegations and moving groups. The interpreter speaks through a portable microphone while participants listen through receivers.
Remote and hybrid interpreting
Suitable for online meetings and events where speakers, interpreters or participants join from different locations. We can coordinate remote language channels, technical checks and interpreter access for platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex.

How your interpreting project works
1. Tell us about the event
Send the date, location, working languages, audience size, agenda and event format. You can also upload presentations, venue information or technical specifications.
2. Receive a recommended setup and quotation
We review the programme and identify the interpreters, equipment and technical support required. For a standard request, I recommend committing internally to a quotation or a clear request for missing information within one business day. More complex events involving several rooms, languages or equipment providers may require additional technical consultation.
3. Confirm the team and event plan
After confirmation, you receive a written summary of the interpreting team, schedule, equipment, preparation requirements and main contacts.
4. Prepare and test
We collect the available materials, brief the interpreters and coordinate the technical checks. For online, hybrid and technically complex events, we recommend a rehearsal before the event.
5. Stay connected during the event
Your project manager remains available to coordinate the interpreters, technical team and organiser. You do not need to search through separate email threads to find the person responsible.
Book early when the event is high-stakes
Experienced specialist interpreters and suitable equipment are limited. For conferences requiring booths, technicians or several language combinations, booking at least four weeks before the event provides more choice and more preparation time. Smaller meetings and remote assignments can sometimes be arranged more quickly.

Interpreting booths are soundproof enclosures that provide a quiet environment for interpreters, clean audio for attendees, and pace alignment for speakers. They’re essential for in-person conferences and are designed to ISO standards.
How do multilingual conferences manage multiple language channels?
Each language pair is assigned its own interpreter team and channel, either via soundproof booths or virtual platforms. Attendees choose their language using headset receivers or online players. A technician handles signal routing to prevent overlaps or delays.
What is remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI)?
RSI allows interpreters to work from virtual booths, with live audio streamed to participant devices. It removes the need for physical booths and reduces travel costs while maintaining quality. Perfect for online and hybrid events.

For high-level events with booths, book at least 4 weeks ahead. Smaller or remote meetings can often be confirmed just days in advance. We’ll always do our best to accommodate urgent requests.
What equipment comes with your interpreting package, and can you supply extras?
Our standard setup includes ISO booths, headsets, microphones, and sound systems. We can scale for multiple languages or provide cloud-based remote setups. Remember: each booth requires two interpreters per language pair.
What information should we provide before the event?
Send us the agenda, slides, glossaries, scripts, speaker bios, videos — anything that helps the interpreters understand your tone, goals and subject matter. The more context, the smoother the interpreting.
Can you record the interpreted audio?
Yes. We can record each language channel, onsite or remote, and deliver clean audio files for compliance, training or repurposing. Let us know in advance so we can secure permissions and configure the setup.
How much does conference interpreting cost, and what affects the price?
Pricing depends on location, language pair, duration, and subject matter. A 4-hour minimum applies, and client-covered expenses include meals, travel and accommodation. We aim for competitive rates but remember, this is premium service delivered by top-tier professionals with 15+ years of experience.
What happens if the schedule changes last-minute?
If your plans shift, tell us right away. We’ll coordinate with interpreters, adjust logistics, or switch to a remote format if needed. Minor tweaks are usually free. Major date changes may incur rebooking fees but we always prioritise flexibility.
